Remnant Music School Terms of Service

제1조 (목적)
이 약관은 렘넌트 뮤직스쿨(Remnant Music School, 이하 "학교")가 운영하는 웹사이트(이하 "사이트")에서 제공하는 온라인 음악 교육 서비스(이하 "서비스")를 이용하는 데 필요한 학교와 회원 사이의 권리, 의무, 책임과 그 밖에 필요한 사항을 정합니다.

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Remnant Music School (the "School") and its Members, and other matters necessary for using the online music education service (the "Service") provided on the School's website (the "Site").

제2조 (용어의 정의)
1. "회원"이란 이 약관에 동의하고 사이트에 가입한 사람을 말합니다.
2. "과정"이란 학교가 과목별로 구성한 교육 과정을 말합니다. (예: Drums Level 1)
3. "강의"란 과정을 이루는 하나하나의 영상 강의를 말합니다.
4. "과제"란 회원이 과정을 마친 뒤 사이트의 과제 게시판에 올리는 연주, 작품, 글 등을 말합니다.
5. "수료증"이란 과정을 마친 회원에게 학교가 발급하는 증서를 말합니다.
6. "게시물"이란 회원이 사이트에 올린 글, 사진, 영상, 음원, 파일, 댓글 등을 말합니다.

Article 2 (Definitions)
1. "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and signed up on the Site.
2. "Course" means a program of study the School organizes for each subject (for example, Drums Level 1).
3. "Lesson" means an individual video lesson within a Course.
4. "Assignment" means a performance, work or text a Member posts on the Site's Assignments board after completing a Course.
5. "Certificate" means the certificate of completion the School issues to a Member who completes a Course.
6. "Post" means any text, image, video, audio, file or comment a Member puts on the Site.

제3조 (약관의 게시와 변경)
1. 학교는 이 약관을 회원가입 화면과 사이트 하단의 "이용약관" 화면에 게시합니다.
2. 학교는 관련 법령을 어기지 않는 범위에서 이 약관을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
3. 약관을 바꿀 때에는 시행일과 바꾸는 이유를 정해 시행일 7일 전부터 사이트 공지사항에 알립니다. 회원에게 불리하게 바꾸는 경우에는 시행일 30일 전부터 알리고, 회원이 등록한 이메일로도 따로 알립니다.
4. 바뀐 약관에 동의하지 않는 회원은 이용을 그만두고 탈퇴할 수 있습니다. 시행일까지 거부 의사를 밝히지 않으면 바뀐 약관에 동의한 것으로 보며, 학교는 3항의 공지에서 이 점을 함께 알립니다.

Article 3 (Posting and Changes)
1. The School posts these Terms on the sign-up page and on the "Terms of service" page linked at the bottom of the Site.
2. The School may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law.
3. When changing these Terms, the School will announce the effective date and the reason on the Site's Notice board at least 7 days before the effective date. If a change is unfavorable to Members, the School will announce it at least 30 days in advance and also notify Members at the email address they registered.
4. A Member who does not agree to the changed Terms may stop using the Service and delete their account. A Member who does not object by the effective date is deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms, and the School will state this in the announcement under paragraph 3.

제4조 (회원가입)
1. 이 약관과 개인정보처리방침에 동의하고 가입 양식을 작성하면 회원가입을 신청할 수 있습니다.
2. 만 14세 미만인 사람은 부모 등 법정대리인의 동의를 받아야 가입할 수 있습니다.
3. 학교는 다른 사람의 정보를 쓴 경우, 사실과 다른 정보를 적은 경우, 이 약관에 따라 회원 자격을 잃은 적이 있는 경우에는 가입을 거절하거나 나중에 회원 자격을 없앨 수 있습니다.

Article 4 (Sign-up)
1. You may apply for membership by agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy policy and completing the sign-up form.
2. A person under 14 years of age must have the consent of a parent or other legal guardian to sign up.
3. The School may refuse an application, or later cancel a membership, if the applicant used another person's information, gave false information, or previously lost membership under these Terms.

제5조 (계정 관리)
1. 회원은 자신의 정보를 정확하게 유지해야 합니다. 정보가 바뀌면 "회원정보" 화면에서 고칩니다.
2. 아이디와 비밀번호를 관리할 책임은 회원에게 있습니다. 계정을 다른 사람과 함께 쓰거나 빌려주어서는 안 됩니다.
3. 다른 사람이 자신의 계정을 쓴 것을 알게 되면 바로 비밀번호를 바꾸고 학교에 알려야 합니다.

Article 5 (Your Account)
1. Members must keep their information accurate. If it changes, they should update it on the "My account" page.
2. Members are responsible for their ID and password. Members must not share or lend their account to anyone.
3. If a Member learns that someone else has used their account, they must change the password at once and inform the School.

제6조 (서비스 내용)
1. 학교가 제공하는 서비스는 과목별 강의 영상 시청, 과정 신청과 진도 확인("내 강의실"), 과제 제출과 선생님 확인, 수료증 발급, 공지사항과 자주 묻는 질문입니다.
2. 기초 과정(Level 1)은 무료입니다.
3. 학교는 강의를 더하거나, 영상을 더 나은 것으로 바꾸거나, 과정 구성을 바꿀 수 있습니다. 회원에게 영향이 큰 변경은 미리 공지합니다.

Article 6 (The Service)
1. The Service consists of watching video Lessons for each subject, applying for Courses and checking progress in "My Classroom", submitting Assignments for a teacher's review, receiving Certificates, and the Notice and FAQ boards.
2. Level 1 Courses are free.
3. The School may add Lessons, replace videos with improved versions, or change how Courses are organized. Changes that significantly affect Members will be announced in advance.

제7조 (서비스의 중단)
1. 학교는 시스템 점검, 설비 고장, 통신 장애, 천재지변 등 부득이한 사유가 있으면 서비스를 잠시 멈출 수 있습니다. 가능한 경우 미리 공지합니다.
2. 강의 영상은 YouTube 등 외부 영상 서비스를 통해 재생되므로, 그 서비스의 장애나 정책 변경으로 재생이 잠시 되지 않을 수 있습니다.

Article 7 (Interruption of the Service)
1. The School may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, equipment failure, network problems, natural disasters or other unavoidable reasons. Where possible, it will announce this in advance.
2. Video Lessons play through external video services such as YouTube, so playback may be temporarily unavailable because of an outage or a policy change at that service.

제8조 (수강 신청과 수료)
1. 회원은 로그인한 뒤 과정 화면에서 "신청하기"를 눌러 과정을 시작합니다.
2. 과정의 모든 강의를 끝까지 보고, 과제 게시판에 과제를 올려 담당 선생님의 확인을 받으면 과정을 수료한 것으로 봅니다.
3. 수료증은 학교가 자체적으로 발급하는 증서이며, 국가자격이나 등록된 민간자격이 아닙니다.

Article 8 (Enrollment and Completion)
1. To start a Course, a Member logs in and presses "Apply" on the Course page.
2. A Member completes a Course by watching every Lesson to the end, posting an Assignment on the Assignments board, and having it confirmed by the teacher in charge.
3. The Certificate is issued by the School itself. It is not a national qualification or a registered private qualification.

제9조 (유료 서비스)
학교가 앞으로 유료 과정을 열 경우, 가격, 결제 방법, 이용 기간, 청약철회와 환불 기준을 유료 과정 화면과 별도 규정으로 미리 알리며, 관련 법령을 따릅니다.

Article 9 (Paid Services)
If the School opens paid Courses in the future, it will announce the price, payment methods, access period, and cancellation and refund rules in advance on the Course page and in separate rules, in accordance with applicable law.

제10조 (강의의 저작권)
1. 강의 영상, 악보, 교재, 사이트 디자인 등 학교가 제공하는 자료의 저작권은 학교 또는 정당한 권리자에게 있습니다.
2. 회원은 이 자료를 개인 학습 목적으로만 이용할 수 있습니다. 학교의 허락 없이 녹화, 다운로드, 복제, 배포, 판매, 공개 상영하거나 다른 곳에 올려서는 안 됩니다.

Article 10 (Copyright in Lessons)
1. Copyright in the video Lessons, scores, teaching materials, Site design and other materials provided by the School belongs to the School or the rightful owner.
2. Members may use these materials only for personal study. Without the School's permission, Members must not record, download, copy, distribute, sell or publicly screen them, or upload them anywhere else.

제11조 (회원 게시물)
1. 회원이 올린 과제와 게시물의 저작권은 그 회원에게 있습니다.
2. 학교는 과제 확인과 피드백, 서비스 운영에 필요한 범위에서만 회원의 게시물을 이용합니다. 홍보 등 다른 목적으로 쓰려면 회원의 동의를 따로 받습니다.
3. 과제 게시판의 글은 작성한 회원과 선생님만 볼 수 있습니다.
4. 다른 사람의 권리를 침해하거나 법령 또는 이 약관에 어긋나는 게시물은 학교가 숨기거나 지울 수 있습니다.

Article 11 (Member Posts)
1. Copyright in Assignments and other Posts belongs to the Member who posted them.
2. The School uses Members' Posts only as needed to review Assignments, give feedback and operate the Service. For any other purpose, such as promotion, the School will ask for the Member's separate consent.
3. Posts on the Assignments board can be seen only by the Member who wrote them and the teacher.
4. The School may hide or remove Posts that infringe the rights of others or violate the law or these Terms.

제12조 (회원의 의무)
회원은 다음 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
1. 가입하거나 정보를 바꿀 때 거짓 정보를 적는 행위
2. 다른 사람의 계정을 쓰는 행위
3. 강의 자료를 제10조에 어긋나게 이용하는 행위
4. 다른 사람의 저작권 등 권리를 침해하는 게시물을 올리는 행위
5. 다른 회원이나 선생님을 괴롭히거나, 욕설, 차별, 음란한 내용을 올리는 행위
6. 광고나 스팸을 올리는 행위
7. 사이트의 운영을 방해하거나 보안을 해치는 행위

Article 12 (Member Obligations)
Members must not:
1. give false information when signing up or updating their information;
2. use another person's account;
3. use Lesson materials in breach of Article 10;
4. post anything that infringes the copyright or other rights of others;
5. harass other Members or teachers, or post abusive, discriminatory or obscene content;
6. post advertising or spam;
7. interfere with the operation of the Site or compromise its security.

제13조 (이용 제한)
1. 회원이 제12조를 어기면 학교는 경고, 일시 이용 정지, 회원 자격 상실의 순서로 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다. 위반이 무겁거나 되풀이되면 바로 회원 자격을 없앨 수 있습니다.
2. 학교는 긴급한 경우가 아니면 이용을 제한하기 전에 회원에게 이유를 알리고 의견을 낼 기회를 줍니다.

Article 13 (Restrictions on Use)
1. If a Member breaches Article 12, the School may restrict their use in stages: a warning, a temporary suspension, and loss of membership. For serious or repeated breaches, the School may cancel the membership immediately.
2. Except in urgent cases, the School will tell the Member the reason and give them a chance to respond before restricting their use.

제14조 (회원 탈퇴)
1. 회원은 언제든지 "회원정보" 화면의 "계정 삭제"로 탈퇴할 수 있습니다.
2. 탈퇴하면 수강 기록, 과제, 수료 기록을 다시 볼 수 없습니다. 개인정보는 개인정보처리방침과 관련 법령에 따라 처리합니다.

Article 14 (Deleting Your Account)
1. Members may leave at any time by using "Delete account" on the "My account" page.
2. After deleting the account, the Member can no longer access their course progress, Assignments or completion records. Personal information is handled according to the Privacy policy and applicable law.

제15조 (개인정보 보호)
학교는 회원의 개인정보를 관련 법령과 사이트에 게시한 개인정보처리방침에 따라 보호합니다.

Article 15 (Privacy)
The School protects Members' personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy policy posted on the Site.

제16조 (책임의 제한)
1. 학교는 천재지변, 외부 서비스의 장애 등 학교가 막을 수 없는 사유로 서비스를 제공하지 못한 경우에는 책임을 지지 않습니다.
2. 학교는 회원의 잘못으로 생긴 이용 장애나 손해에 대해서는 책임을 지지 않습니다.
3. 회원은 자신의 몸 상태와 주변 환경에 맞게 안전하게 연습해야 합니다.
4. 위 내용에도 불구하고, 학교의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 회원에게 손해가 생긴 경우에는 학교가 책임을 집니다.

Article 16 (Limitation of Liability)
1. The School is not liable for failing to provide the Service because of causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outages at external services.
2. The School is not liable for problems or damage caused by a Member's own fault.
3. Members should practice safely, in a way that suits their own physical condition and surroundings.
4. Notwithstanding the above, the School is liable for damage caused to a Member by the School's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

제17조 (준거법과 분쟁 해결)
1. 이 약관과 서비스 이용에는 대한민국 법을 적용합니다.
2. 학교와 회원은 분쟁이 생기면 먼저 성실히 협의합니다. 협의로 해결되지 않으면 대한민국 민사소송법에 따른 관할 법원에 소송을 낼 수 있습니다.

Article 17 (Governing Law and Disputes)
1. These Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. If a dispute arises, the School and the Member will first try in good faith to resolve it through discussion. If that fails, either party may bring a claim before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

제18조 (언어)
이 약관은 한국어와 영어로 작성합니다. 두 내용이 서로 다르면 한국어 약관을 우선합니다.

Article 18 (Language)
These Terms are written in Korean and English. If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

부칙
이 약관은 2026년 10월 7일부터 시행합니다.

Supplementary Provision
These Terms take effect on October 7, 2026.
